LOVE IN THE POETRY WRITTEN BY WOMEN UNDER THE FR ANCO REGIME

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to reflect on the love poetry written by women in the early years of Franco’s regime. This work tries to show how this poetry echoes the patriarcal ideology defended by falangist and ultracatholics. At the same time, it tries to describe the emergence of poetic texts of dissidence abaut love. I shall study some poets who reflect this context in their poems that reflect on loving submission, marriage, motherhood, etc.
